I want to point out something you would have to be a political junky and read a tn of political stories to see. The term "Conservative"has now been changed from what used to be something solid and respected to now using "Conservative" in connection with the most stupid ignorant mentally ill, and extreme nut cases ever elected to Congress.

Which is a huge personal victory to me. As I have said since my first day on this forum I have been at personal war against the lie of conservatism for more than 40 years. And that is because conservative/Republicans always preach one thing and practice the opposite. But even I had to admit conservative ideology and their values were solid and the counter to liberal. And once upon a time there were quite a few conservatives I had a lot of respect for.

Which is actually vital for our nation and democracy. We have to have two strong opposing parties because power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. So for our whole history American have made sure that does not happen for too long because the party with absolute power will fuck up. And we see that in a very consistent pattern. If one party controls the presidency and both houses of Congress when the mid terms come around American voters usually change that and give majority control in the House and/or Senate to the opposing party.

But now the term "Conservative" has been changed in the media at least to describe anyone on the right who opposes House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Which is amazing to me. All of a sudden McCarthy isn't a conservative anymore and and people like Lauren Boebert, MTG, Andy Bigg, Paul Gosar, Scott Perry, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz and Chip Roy are. Which fits right into my label. Instead of being conservative/Republicans any more they are now treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans. Which could not be better for us progressive/liberal/Democrats because as long as we can make Trump, MTG, Boebert, Gaetz, and Jordan the face of the Republican party we will win. They are stupid ignorant racist, bigoted, extremists nut cases that aren't just opposed by the majority of American people they scare the shit out of them. And I didn't do it to them. They did it to themselves.

So pay attention here to see what "Conservatives" have become.

Trump hits the panic button: Antisemitic attacks on special counsel Jack Smith betray desperation

As detailed in historian George Fredrickson's landmark book "Racism: A Short History," there is a complex and overlapping relationship between the "religious" antisemitism of the European Middle Ages, the racist and white supremacist project of white-on-black chattel slavery, colonialism, imperialism, and then the Nazism and racial antisemitism of the 20th century. This translates into a type of path dependency, if not inevitable outcome: As the "conservative" movement becomes increasingly racist and white supremacist, it then becomes increasingly antisemitic.

Where antisemitic hate speech once triggered near-universal and immediate condemnation across the political spectrum, that is no longer the case. Today's rise of antisemitism has been largely met with silence, or worse, an embrace or tacit acceptance by the Republican Party.

We saw this after Trump's ominous warning to Jews in mid-October to "get their act together…before it's too late," which not one Republican condemned. Shortly thereafter, Business Insider contacted 38 Republicans, in and out of Congress, to ask why they have been unwilling to publicly reject antisemitism. Their responses included "silence, deflection, and rehashing old statements," generously summarized as "minimal outcry."

While extremism may have once been relegated to the fringes of American society, today it has found a political home in the Republican Party.

Racism is not some type of buffet to be picked and chosen from or a value and belief that can be siloed or neatly switched on and off when convenient. In reality, racism is a way of thinking and being in the world that has a profound influence, both consciously and subconsciously, across a range of behaviors. Public opinion research, for instance, has repeatedly shown that white racial resentment heavily influences support for Republican candidates. Moreover, social scientists have also shown that a given white person's feeling of warmth and closeness to Black and brown people is one of the defining factors that influence support for the Democratic Party. The Republican Party and Donald Trump benefit from the opposite dynamic, whereby a white person's hostility and antipathy towards Black and brown people is predictive of support.

Of critical importance is how in response to the victories of the Civil Rights movement and Black Freedom Struggle, the Republican Party embraced what is known as the Southern Strategy, which involves racist "dog whistles" as well as more overt appeals to white racism and racial resentment as a way of winning over and keeping white voters.

As Donald Trump finally faces serious consequences for his decades-long crime spree, he has become more antisemitic. This is true more generally for the MAGA movement, the Republican Party, and the larger right wing during the Trumpocene – but especially since the coup attempt on Jan. 6, and now the indictments of Donald Trump and his cabal for his and their crimes against democracy and society. Trump will only become more bold and gross as the 2024 presidential election approaches and the walls of justice close in.

Antisemitism, like other forms of racism and white supremacy, must be exposed and directly engaged if it is to be driven out of American life.

Following his arrest and indictment in Miami for allegedly violating the Espionage Act, Donald Trump flew back to his golf resort in New Jersey, where in a speech to his MAGA cultists, the traitor ex-president railed against special counsel Jack Smith with racist and antisemitic tropes and stereotypes, as Chris Walker detailed in Truthout:

Citing the special counsel's remarkable legal bona fides, Trump somehow spun those attributes to formulate an attack against Smith that only his supporters would seemingly understand. He even appeared to suggest that Smith's work at the International Criminal Court was somehow indicative of his failings as a lawyer.

"It's no wonder this raging lunatic was shipped off to The Hague to prosecute warfare rules using globalist tribunals not beholden to the Constitution, or the rule of law," Trump told his adoring supporters.

Notably, Trump's criticism of Smith included the antisemitic "globalist" terminology, which alludes to a conspiracy theory that alleges Jewish elites are trying to run the affairs of the world behind the scenes. The anti-Jewish attacks against Smith, whose religious faith is not well-documented, isn't new territory for Trump, writer David Margolick, writing an op-ed for The Nation earlier this year, has noted.

Trump has attacked Smith many times by insinuating his real name isn't actually "Smith," and that he changed it — a charge that could be construed as an anti-Jewish dog whistle, Margolick said, noting that historically, bigots have viewed Jews changing their names as "evidence of a plot."

Indeed, Trump has used the attack before: in 2013, he used similar language to malign comedian Jon Stewart, to suggest he shouldn't be viewed as a trustworthy news source. "If Jon Stewart is so above it all & legit, why did he change his name from Jonathan Leibowitz[?]" Trump asked on social media at the time.

Trump's fundraising emails and other communications are also filled with antisemitic themes and threats that mirror the infamous Protocols of the Elders of Zion and other racist and white supremacist hate tracts. Such themes in Trump's and his allies' messaging include the conspiracy lie that there is a "deep state" that controls "the Democrats" and "the liberal media" through "globalist" "puppet masters" who are secretly "pulling the strings" and controlling the world and forcing the "Woke agenda" on "patriotic" Americans with the goal of making the country "socialist" or "communist"." Trump and the larger right-wing are also obsessed with George Soros (a Democratic Party donor who happens to be Jewish and a Holocaust survivor) and routinely launch antisemitic attacks on him.

Conservative now means "trumplican" and culture wars. Whenever the GOP is in trouble, "culture wars" are the result. In other words, keep america white and Christian.

On the other hand in the UK white and Christian sounds utterly normal, pleasant, and slightly middle class - A world away from manic money-crazed immoral American rightist politics. More popping down to the village shop to buy some asparagus and a no litter campaign.

Elderly woman NYC mayor shouted at and called a 'plantation' owner is a Holocaust survivor: report
Story by Matthew Chapman • Yesterday 3:31 PM

    Fox News/screen grab© Raw Story
New York City Mayor Eric Adams came under fire this week for losing his temper at an elderly woman who complained at his town hall about a rent increase on rent-controlled apartments.

“First, if you’re going to ask a question, don’t point at me and don’t be disrespectful to me. I’m the mayor of this city and treat me with the respect that would deserve to be treated. I’m speaking to you as an adult," Adams said. “Don’t stand in front like you treated someone that’s on the plantation that you own. I’m a grown man. I walked into this room as a grown man and I’ll walk out of this room as a grown man. I answered your question – go to the next table."

It gets worse, though. According to Forward, the woman Adams was comparing to an Antebellum slave master, 84-year-old Jeanie Dubnau, is a Holocaust survivor.

"In a phone interview, Dubnau, a microbiologist on the faculty of Rutgers University, said she was born in Brussels after her parents fled Nazi Germany. They managed to survive the war in France in hiding and 'were lucky enough to come here,' to the U.S., sponsored by her mother’s uncle," reported Beth Harpaz.

"Others noted Dubnau’s long history fighting for tenants' rights," said the report. "'This woman is Jeanie Dubnau, the Co-Founder of the Riverside Edgecombe Neighborhood Association (RENA), a tenants & housing rights advocacy organization in Upper Manhattan,' tweeted Juan Rosa, national director of civic engagement at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials."

Adams, a former police officer and Brooklyn Borough President who was elected mayor of New York in 2021, has frequently come under fire for erratic and controversial statements, including a claim earlier this year that mass shootings are caused by a lack of prayer in school.

Republicans want to 'rewrite history and science' to support white nationalism: Former GOP lawmaker

    Matthew Chapman
    June 30, 2023, 6:40 PM ET

    David Jolly (CNN)

Former Congressman David Jolly (R-FL) tore into his former Republican colleagues for their close ties to extreme activists trying to censor books in schools and block any mention of race relations or sexual orientation.

All of this comes as the extremist group Moms for Liberty, which has ties to the Proud Boys and the QAnon movement, gathers in Philadelphia — and as former President Donald Trump, and several other GOP officials including many of his own challengers for the 2024 nomination, attend to speak and support their cause.

"Republicans are struggling with suburban women," said anchor Nicolle Wallace. "This doesn't seem like something that is going to help."

Jolly agreed, and contrasted with how aggressively the Republican agenda on education has evolved in the last two decades.

"Once you get into what the intent of Republicans really is on education, but to say you want to empower parents sounds pretty important to most families," said Jolly. "And Nicolle, we've had the same journey over the last 20 years with Republicans. I am taken by the fact that 20 years ago, you saw the emergence of kind of a Jeb Bush education policy that was largely centered on school choice. We want parents to be able to take their kids to achieve academic excellence at the school of their choosing. It was true liberty."

By contrast, he continued, "Republican education policy today is, we want to rewrite curriculum and skip past what makes a curriculum a quality curriculum. We want to rewrite history and science and truth so that we can reflect this white nationalism, if you will, that is indoctrinated into today's Republican Party. A far, far journey away from what traditional Republican policy on education used to be."

How about because Trump is running for president again and leads all other treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans in the primary by double digits.

And you are just so typical of the kind of posters @Bron Zeaga talks about. say they support Trump Can't seem to find anyone around here that will admit they support Trump and especially come out and say they support him because he is a fine upstanding honest American. And yet Trump is the undisputed leader of the Republican party. And no other Republican is even close to him.

What do you propose to do about Trump? Since he was the first president to attempt a coup and incited an armed violent deadly insurrection to try and overthrow the results of a free and fair election. Are you saying Hunter Biden might have committed bigger crimes than that?

If so show us the evidence of that.

Here we are. All us male crackers need to take note that we are a danger to society and we must make amends. Now. Admit our sins and pay our reparations. It doesn't matter that no American slave owner from the civil war era is alive today, and no slave is alive today. Nossirree! Us crackers are a danger and we need to be forced to pay. Nikcole has a new car to buy.

“White men are a danger to society,” says a member of San Francisco’s reparations committee (msn.com)

“White men are a danger to society,” says a member of San Francisco’s reparations committee
Story by Milla • 1h ago

“White men are a danger to society,” says a member of San Francisco’s reparations committee
A San Francisco reparations committee member claims white men are a “menace” and “white supremacy is ingrained in the DNA” of the US.

Slave owners should be held accountable
Nikcole Cunningham claims white people still benefit from slavery. A member of the Compensation Committee of San Francisco who has proposed paying millions of dollars in slavery reparations to the city’s Black residents has called straight white men “a menace to society.” Cunningham was part of the committee that proposed every eligible black resident receive $5 million for damages for slavery.

    Challenging views
Cunningham said white men are “privileged,” adding, “Straight white men are serial killers.” She elaborated, “They have the most, I watch these shows, the most serial killers. Straight white men are the ones who are shooting up schools, right?” Cunningham added, “So they are a danger to society. Not all of them.”

White men are not helping with reparations
Cunningham noted that white men were not supporting reparations and shared, “If anything, they pose more of a harm than support and help.” She turned to historical moments, “Then you got to remember their ancestors.. are the ones who were standing out here in their Sunday best watching black people hang and burn.”

White supremacy is in the DNA of the country
Nicole Cunningham, who serves on the 15-member African American Reparations Advisory Committee, continued by sharing her belief that “white supremacy is ingrained in the DNA in this country and definitely in this city.” Several other members of the committee share these views.

    California State Senator supports reparations
Scott Wiener, California State Senator, confirmed for the publication that he supports reparations “to make good on the harm that was done.” He added, regarding payments, “There’s always a way to afford (it)… But we do have a pretty disastrous budget right now, but that will shift over time.”

    Something similar was already done
Japanese Americans and some Holocaust victims also reportedly got similar payments. The law gave surviving Japanese Americans $20,000 in reparations and a formal apology by President Reagan for their incarceration during World War II. The payments were made to Japanese American citizens removed from the West Coast during WWII for losses of real and personal property.

    The cost of reparations
The Hoover Institution made a calculation that the reparations for San Francisco would be around $175 billion, or $600,000 for each non-African American household in the city. Cunningham proposed taxing essential utilities, such as “water, garbage, Internet, and Cable,” and said, “You add even $0.05 to these things, you have millions and millions if not billions of dollars.”

There is always a way, or so it should be
Cunningham explained, “No one has asked us, ‘Hey, Nicole, can we send this money to Ukraine?’ They have just found and sent the money.” Considering San Francisco’s yearly budget is $14 billion, finding over $150 billion will be quite a task.

You can't wave both and claim to honor and love the United States of America. One is the flag that millions have died for to defend the United States of America. And the other is the flag of trators that fought and killed against it.

And no you don't have to say I pick one or the other. As soon as you wave the flag of traitors you already did.
